This Month's Topic

Self-Care

We have been given the erroneous impression that self care is an indulgence or something that we do to manage the stress levels in our life so that we can get back to the “real stuff”. Rest and restorative practices for ourselves are not a privilege earned for productivity. These are a requirement in order to be a productive person. If we do not give ourselves pause for restoration then we will be less productive in every other manner or our lives. And eventually we will burnout. This course teaches that self care is not an indulgence, it is a right. And without this care we damage ourselves. Choosing not to participate in self care is choice that cripples how we can show up in our lives.

Creating Lasting Change

In order to start the process of healing and learning how to better manage ourselves emotionally, we have to increase our understanding of how our nervous system works. This course focuses on building this self awareness, as well as creating a meditation practice and understanding why this is so important.

Creating Lasting Change

Lessons include: "Building Self-Awareness"; "Connection vs. Protection"; and "Loving, Belonging, and Worthiness"

Course 2

Anchors And Self Compassion

Contrary to popular belief, self-compassion isn’t all that warm and fuzzy. Instead its a very reality based approach of radically accepting everything as it is. This course teaches how to use self-compassion and the interplay this has with our nervous system and relationships.

Anchors And Self Compassion

Lessons include: "How to Create and Use Anchors" and "Using Self-Compassion"

Course 3

Building Self-Efficacy

This course walks us through the skills needed to recognize our prior programming and conditioning through self awareness, in an effort to strengthen our own sense of agency. This allows us to start the process of making self-empowered decisions to let go of the programming and conditioning that no longer serves us.

Building Self-Efficacy

Lessons include: "Agency"; "Programming and Conditioning"; and "How Self-Awareness is Key in Recognizing and Changing Our Old Programming"

Course 4

Most Resourced Self

On our journey to recognize what no longer serves us and make empowered decisions to choose differently for ourselves, we must feel grounded in the most resourced version of ourselves. This course teaches us about the patterns in relationships that have stripped this version of ourselves away and helps us to build back the resources we need to establish a most resourced version of ourselves.

Most Resourced Self

Lessons include: PART 1: "The Drama Triangle"; "Understanding the Impact of Being Raised by Emotionally Immature Caregivers"; "Building Resources" PART 2: "The 10% Solution"; and "The Compassion Triangle"

Course 5

The Power Of Our Stories

There is a strong power we wield to create and tell our own stories. It is a very healing tool that cannot be emphasized enough. For millennia we have been using storytelling as a means to teach, celebrate, make meaning, and ultimately heal. This course helps you to wield this historical tool with more intention and success.

The Power Of Our Stories

Lessons include: "Changing Our Perspectives" and "Taking Back Our Stories"

Course 7

Emotional Agility

Building emotional agility allows you to pivot out of even the most difficult of life circumstances. It helps you enjoy your life as it is. When we are centered around trying to control things in our lives, we are vulnerable to the chaos caused by change. And yet, change is a fact of life. Instead of spending your time trying to ward off this inevitability, worrying and being in a constant state of preparation, create a more agile approach to your life and start loving your life NOW!

Emotional Agility

Lessons include: "Autobiography in Five Short Chapters", "Discomfort is Your Teacher", "The Gift of Grief", and "Emotional Granularity"

Course 8

Growth Mindset

Changing our mindset is not really the objective. Growing it is. Staying flexible in our thinking for our entire lifetime affords us an ability to pivot during challenges and gain new ways of doing things across time. And putting a growth mindset into action isn’t as hard as we may believe. It doesn’t require us to know what our minds are going to change to, it just asks that each day we keep making decisions in the direction of growth.

Growth Mindset

Lessons Include: "How Our Discomfort Informs Our Growth", "Rumble Strips", "Why Self-Love Is the Answer", and invites you to discover "What's Your New Story"
